Especially because both the first 2 became heavily dominated by collabs, which like, of course 8 people are gonna make a more polished and complete level than 1 person, which led to even more complaints from the folks who did not have collab partners, since for most of them it made it feel kinda pointless when you're aiming for a shot at say, 12th place instead of 1st.

To be honest i found it weird that he asked for a few gd mods to help represent the judging panel in the latest gdan event, only for the judging concept to be completely botched and my role being vestigial and useless

i think he cared more that i was sending levels than the charity

he did a request stream with me once and advertised it as "for charity" and im kinda beginning to think about that more

How to Get Moderator It is possible to get Moderator without applying, but we mostly focus on applications nowadays as it ensures that the users we consider are interested in the position, while also allowing us some insight into who they are and how they consider levels. Reviewing Applications All applications are read by at least two Moderators, and typically three recently. Every few months, when some hundred new applications have built up, I will ask if anyone is interested in reading over some in here, and the slots are given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Each person will typically read over 100-200 applications each, which will be sent through a Google Sheet in a direct message from me. Afterwards, you should tell me which applications (by row number in the sheet) you thought were interesting. Once every Moderator in a batch has finished reading, I will send these applications in this channel for everyone to have the chance to give input on them. If anyone is very promising based on opinions in here, I may forward them to RobTop for promotion later! Application Levels In the final question of the application, we ask the applicant to give feedback to a specific creator based on two of their levels. The creator, and the two levels, will be changed every few months, so feel free to suggest options for next time.
