The main reason I never stick with minecraft very long has always just been the systems. Progression isn't really a big concern of mine, only gone to the end like twice outside of creative. But, the way progression ties to being able to do the building in reasonable amounts of time has always been kinda disengaging because the progression itself is just a bit bland.
